Jin Xuan Red Tea

Jin Xuan Red Tea from Thailand

As you know, in the north of Thailand there are many tea plantations with Taiwanese hybrids from the Alishan mountains. Periodically, various masters from Taiwan come to the country and produce unique and at the same time interesting tea variations, which later are exported to their homeland. More recently, red tea from the young leaves of the Jin Xuan bush was produced.

The tea turned out so unique that in its flavor bouquet there are floral, spicy and honey notes. We have a few kilograms at our disposal, so we advise you to hurry.

How to Prepare Red Tea

  • Water temperature: 80-100 degrees Celsius.
  • Housewares: transparent, porcelain or ceramic teapop/mug.
  • An amount of tea and volume: 1-2 tsp per 150 - 200 ml.
  • A number of brewings: 4-6.

  1. Place the tea leaves into the teapot and pour water into it.
  2. The first filling lasts a few seconds and the water must be drained, thus washes the tea leaves.
  3. Pour water into the teapot again.
  4. Leave the mixture for at least 45-60 seconds*.
  5. Drain the water out from teapot and your tea is ready to serve.

* Increase time of next brewing for 10-20 seconds.
